Had to be the horses
Well this is definitely something we’d never done. A friend had a cattle drive on to push about 40 cow-calf pairs up into the grazing highlands of southern Kananaskis near the Old Man River. We joined them and “helped”. Long day in the saddle, but was super-fun.
We used the farm as headquarters and got a day in at Haig Lake (Castle Ski Area) and a quick trip to Montana only to find that the Going-to-the-Sun road was still drifted over. Great times. Good Food.
